The place is great with pool, AC and a beautiful view from the rooftop but what really makes this place exceptional was the vibes. "This place is amazing! The best hostel I ever stayed in! It's the perfect place - perfectly located overlooking La Punta's beach for the best sunsets you'll ever experience. Coffee and fresh fruits for breakfast right after yoga session is the best way to open the morning. The rooms are so comfortable, clean, equipped with AC (you need it in Puerto Escondido!), hot water in the shower, and the best mattress. But the best thing about this place is the people. The staff are absolutely awesome - Alicia, Alex, Chris, and Camilla are just amazing, they helped me with everything I needed (including arranging a very sweet deal in a scooter for the week of my stay), gave brilliant tips, but most importantly they were welcoming, friendly, and sustained the most positive and fun energy in the hostel. Pet friendly ❤️

At Bonobo, we’re happy to welcome your furry friends—but we like to make sure everyone (two-legged and four-legged) gets along.

✨ Here’s how it works:

We accept small to medium-sized dogs only (sorry, no pit bulls or large breeds).
You must send us a photo and let us know in advance—we do a little “casting” to make sure it’s a good fit.
We allow a maximum of 2 dogs at a time in the house to keep things peaceful.
There’s a pet fee of $150 MXN per day.

To make your pup feel extra welcome, we’ll prepare a little care package with a pet bed and bowls—because they deserve a holiday too!
